Von Surabaya nach Yogya

Mit Danya und Etty fuhr ich bis Surabaya. Ich durfte dabei sein als man für den Hajj eine Ziege kaufte und in die Moschee brachte. Die Geschichte, wieso man das so macht, kannte ich schon von der Kirche. Gott befahl Abraham seinen einzigen Sohn als Opfer zu Ehren Gottes zu töten. Kurz bevor er dies gemacht hat, befahl Gott Ishmael mit einer Geiss auszutauschen. Bis heute werden also dafür Tiere geopfert an dem Tag, an dem Millionen Menschen nach Mekka pilgern.

With Danya and Etty I went till Surabaya. There I joined him of buying a goat for the ''Hajj''. Its actually because of the same story like I heard it in the church. God tested Abraham to sacrifice his son Ishmael. But in the moment he wanted to kill Ismael god gave new orders and said, replace your son with a Animal. Thats why till today they ''sacrifice'' a lot of animal on the day of the pilgrimage of mecca.

Die Unterkunft war ein überteuertes Loch und das Wetter ein bisschen feucht...

The accomodation I found was a expensive whole and the weather a bit humid...

In Yogya traf ich schliesslich wieder auf Rachel Bali- Trip . Auch fand ich einen Platz, wo ich das Schächten und verteilen des Hajji beobachten konnte. Ein Hauptgedanke dahinter ist, dass wohlhabende Leute ein Tier kaufen, welches dann unter allen (auch den Armen) verteilt wird. Die Kuh dann zu beobachten, wie sie lange noch atmet und keucht, während sie langsam ausbluted, war dann weniger appetitlich.

In Jogja I finnaly found Rachel. Bali- Trip I observed how the slaughtering and sharing out of the meat works. The rich people should buy animals while the meat gonna be distributed between everybody. (The poor ones too). But to see the cow dying slowliy under pain till the all blood was out, was pretty strange.

Während dem Arbeiten beten vorallem Kinder die ganze Zeit.

Und dann das Grosse verteilen des Fleisches.

And in the end the big distribution of the meat.

Persönlich: Zum zweiten Mal den gleichen Weg hitchhiken ist nicht so toll. Von Yogjakarta nach Malang Aber trotzdem lerne ich viel Neues. Gut so...
