Gleich beim Ankommen begrüssten mich die Kameras und während der ganzen Zeit suchte man auf Werbung und im Fernsehen nach ''verdächtigen Personen''. 

Ich nenne Singapore eine Wüste der Freude. Man ist sicher, paranoid und kann als Hobby vorallem Geld ausgeben in Hochglanzshoppingzentren. (Fast wie die Schweiz, einfach ohne Berge)

Trotzdem war es angenehm zu wissen, dass es gute Spitäler, Infrastruktur und Polizei immer in der Nähe gibt. Im Schoss der Sicherheit...

On arrival, the CCTV welcomed me and during my whole stay the officials and the TV was searching for suspecious persons... 

I call Singapore a desert of joy. People here are save, paranoid and as a hobby, you can spend a lot of money in high glittering shopping centers. (Almost like Switzerland, just without mountains)

On the other hand it was very convenient to know, having good hospitals, infrastructure and police always near. Security...

Der grosse Vorteil war hier, ich konnte alte Freunde wiedertreffen und irgendwie fühlte ich mich hier zuhause. Rechts fand ich Krokodilfleisch in einer Kantine...

The good thing was, I could meet old friends. On the right side and I felt at home here. I found crocodile meat in a food court...

Was ich nach meiner Zeit in Papua und Ostindonesien sehr zu schätzen lernte, war Architektur. Vieles wird in Singapore gemacht um lokale Identität zu erzeugen und die Stadt interessant zu gestalten.

After my travelings to Papua and East- Indonesia, I realised how much they do in Singapore to creat local identity and they try to make the city more interessting architecturally.

Ein anderes Highlight war ein Megasteak oder das Konzert einer Coverband der Queens.

Another highlight was the huge steak in a hard rock restaurant or the concert of a cover- band of the queens.

Iphone- Land. Ich kenne niemanden in Singapore ohne das Gerät. Auch ist fast die ganze Stadt mit WiFi abgedeckt, womit man immer mit Facebook verbunden ist. Willkommen im 2011!! Rechts dann ne Mega Crysler Limousine als Taxi. Das Best: Dieses Taxi ist nicht viel teurer als die anderen!

Iphone- land. I don't know anybody in Singapore without this item. And because the whole city is covered with WiFi, you can be online on Facebook 24 hours a day. On the right site is a huge Crysler Limousin Taxi. Wasn't even more expensive then the normal once!

Persönlich: Ich genoss es mich zu Hause zu fühlen. Vorallem wegen Freunden wie: Marc +co, Lim und Anne, Jimmy und Emay sowie andere.

Personal: I enjoyed my time here cos I felt somehow at home. First of all because of my friends: Marc +co., Lim and Anne, Jimmy and Emay and others.
