Indonesien (Papua) 

Jayapura im ersten Augenblick. Ich traf auf die richtigen Leute und kann die Zeit nur geniessen. Dies obwohl ich eine schwierige Zeit in der VISA-Hölle erwartet habe. 

Jayapura in the first time. I met the right people and enjoy my time here with them. I didn't expected this. I thought I gonna have a difficult time in the VISA-hell. 

9.-18.7.2011

Das Schiff kam um etwa 3 Uhr morgens an. Jetzt noch ein überteuertes Hotel suchen? Nein. Ich fand dann ein paar Wachleute von einem teuren Hotel. Einen Vodka später waren wir gute Freunde. 

The ship arrived at 3a.m. But I did wanted to search a expensive hostel NOW. But I found some bored security men from a expensive hotel. One vodka later we have been good friends. 

Am nächsten Tag traf ich auf Fernando. Er lud mich gleich ein, bei ihm zu wohnen. Und als nächstes ging er sich ein Tatoo machen... Typisch Indonesien ist, dass der spezielle Muslim dem christlichen Freund ein ägyptisches Kreuz tätoviert!

The next day I met Fernando. He invited me to sleep on his place. After that we went to make him a tatoo... Its just really indonesian to see a crazy muslim makin a tatoo of a egyptian cross to the arm of the christian friend! 

Diese Bild ist sehr bezeichnend für Jayapura. Viele kleine Häuser welche an die Hänge geklebt wurden. 

This is really typically Jayapura. Small houses put on the steep hill. 

Grundsätzlich sind viele Papua christlich missioniert worden. Doch die grosse Anzahl an muslimischen Einwanderern in den Städten hat heute viel Gewicht in Religionsfragen. 

Rechts: ein Bild welches ich seit China fast täglich sehe. Dreikäsehoch welche absolute Pro's sind am Computerzocken.

 Normally a lot of Papus are christinas. But today there are a lot of immigrants from muslim Parts of Indonesia. In the city, I guess, live today more muslims then christians. 

Right: A image I've seen everywhere since China. Young boys are the pro's about gaming in the internetzenters. 

Adi vom Internetzenter in dem Fernando arbeitet, lud mich zu einem Ausflug ein. Wir besuchten den Berg von Jayapura und in die Stelzendörfer. Hammer! 

Adi from the Internetcenter where Fernando works, invited me to make a trip around the city. Highlight have been the top of a small mountain just by Jayapura or the villages on stilt. 

Die Leute, die auf dieser Inseln wohnen sind von Sulawesi eingewandert. Wohl haben sie schon da auf und im Wasser gelebt. 

The people from this island immigrated from Sulawesi. I guess they lived already there on and in the water. 

Zum Abschluss sahen wir ein paar der speziellsten Fischerboote, die ich je gesehen habe. Auf das Schiff wird ein System gebaut, welches Netze hinunterfahren kann, um so fahrend Fische zu fangen. 

In the end, we've seen some VERY speciall fishingboats. Theres a system on the ship to put down the nets and to cash fishes during driving. 

Persönlich: Ich geniesse die neuen Freunde und die letzten Tage in Indonesien in vollen zügen. 

Personal: I can enjoy my last days with the new friends. Everything great in the last days in Indonesia.
