Wenn man in Phuket landet ist man überrascht über den Stress und das Chaos im Paradies. An welchen Strand will man nun gehen? Viele haben nicht 10 Tage Zeit die Insel zu erkunden. Deshalb helfe ich hier ein bisschen mit Tips.
Some people are surprised of the chaos and the stress in this paradise. Which beach is the best? I had 10 days to go around the island, now I wanna give you some good advises.

Das kleine Abenteuer
Die Perle zuerst: Der längste Strand von Phuket liegt im Nordwesten gleich bei der Brücke zum Festland. Menschenleer und mit viel Sonne bis spät in den Abend ist dies mein Lieblingsstrand. Die Wasserqualität ist ausserdem perfekt. Man sieht beim tauchen viele Meter weit. Nur gibt es auch keine Rettungsschwimmer und Infrastruktur. Erst beim Flughafen dessen Flugzeuge tief über den Strand fliegen und südlich davon findet man solche Sachen.
My favorite beach can be found in the north western part of the island. Its endless and completely empty! Even the water is clear as cristal. Love it!
On the other hand its fare away of everything, theres not a lot of infrastructure and no rescue people. The first normal Hotels are just south of the airport. BTW the planes fly directely over the beach!

Naithon Beach
Die familiäre Bucht
Hier ist es zwar nicht so überfüllte, trotzdem hat man die ganze Infrastruktur. Ein schönes Plätzchen und top für die Flitterwochen oder für Familien. Es gibt ein Thaidorf hinter den Hotels, womit man auch Strassenessen und günstiges Bier finden kann.
Its not very full, but all the infrastructures are provided. A nice place and perfect for families or for the honeymoon. There are even some Thais living just behind the hotels. In this way its possible to find local stores with cheap beer.

Bang Tao Beach

Ich brauchte Stunden um den Strand zu finden hinter den Megahotels. Es gibt nur künstliche Resorts auf einem riesigen Gebiet während vieles vom Strand privatisiert ist. Man bezahlt viel, ist 100% vom Hotal abhängig und man sollte genug Geld dabei haben um die ganze Zeit mit dem Taxi herumfahren zu können. Wers bezahlen kann: Viel Spass! Mann ist so abgeschottet man muss sich nicht mal um die lokale Kultur oder den Menschen bemühen.
I was searching for hours to find the beach behind the Superhotels. There are only huge artificial resort in this huge area and some parts of the beach are privat. You have to pay a lot and everybody is 100% depending on the resort. You should have enough money to pay the taxi during your whole stay. You are so isolated, no need to learn anything about local culture. But if you have the money for this: Enjoy!

Boah, wusste nicht dass man einen Strand so vollpacken kann! Neben den Wassertöffs und Booten bleiben kleine eingezäunte Inseln fürs Schwimmen.
Wow, I didn't knew before its possible to put such a lot chairs on the beach! There are little barrier for swimmer so they don't get killed of all the jet ski.

Kamala Beach
Ziemlich gut
Zwar gibts hier alles, gleichzeitig finded man wohl auch einen ruhigen Platz zum baden. Da es weniger überfüllt ist und die Zufahrtsstrassen weniger gefährlich sind, wäre dies wohl ein guter Platz für Familien mit Jugendlichen Kindern.
You can find everything here, but theres still a corner to take a bath. Its less crowded and the streets are less dangerous. Maybe the right place for families with teeny children.

Patong Beach
Russisches Kriegsgebiet
Patong ist überfüllt, überteuert, stillos, dreckig, gefährlich, kriminel und einfach eckelhaft. Wer aber die Anonymität sucht um irgendwelche Prostituierte oder Ladyboys aufzugabeln oder wer sich mit Kollegen besaufen will wird hier glücklich.
Patong is over- crowded, expensive, has no style, is dirty, dangerous and criminel and just disgusting. But if you search anonymity to hook up with some cheap prostitutes or ladyboys you are going to be happy here. The same if you wanna get drunk with some friends.

Karon Beach
Die edle Überraschung
Das Hilton beweisst, dass es hier nicht ganz günstig ist. Aber trotzdem gibts viel Platz und puderfeiner Strand, was mich überrascht, da der Strand nahe an Phuket town oder Patong beach ist.
I guess (because of the Hilton Hotel Complex) its not the cheapest place. But theres a loooot of space and wonderfull soft beach. I'm surprised, coz its in the middle of the island between Phuket town and Paton beach.

Rawai Beach

Rawai wird vorallem als Hafen für Inselausflüge benutzt. der Strand ist ein bisschen schmutzig und schwimmen ist gefährlich, da die Boote sehr beschäftigt sind und am Strand ankern.
Rawai is used as harbour for trips to the islands. The beach is quite dirty and its dangerous to swim because of all the busy boats who anchor on the beach.

Strand gibts hier so gut wie keinen. Aber dafür ist man an der Anlegestelle für Tauchausflüge und es gibt viele Nachtmärkte mit lokalen Spezialitäten.
Theres almost no beach here. But its the anchor point for sailingboats and the diving trips. There are a lot of night markets with amazing local specialities.
Phuket town

Phuket town hat zwar nichts mit beaches zu tun, aber trotzdem muss ich davon erzählen. Es ist günstig, hübsch, hat wenig Touristen und man kommt schnell an jeden Strand an den man will. Falls man also nicht plant jede Nacht abzustürtzen, kann man hierher ziehen und einen Roller für 4 Franken pro Tag mieten. Mein Tip: Lard Yai (Restaurant, Massenschlag und Laden).
Phuket town isn't really a beach, but I have to tell you about it. Its cheap, pretty and not very touristic. But if you rent a bike for 4$ a day, its easy to reach all the beaches of the island. My advise: Lard Yai (Restaurant, dorm, and shop)
Es gibt noch weiter kleine Strände welche ich vielleicht nicht erwähnt habe. Die meisten davon sind aber völlig privat und der Zugang verschlossen. Bei diesen Orten weiss man was man hat, allerdings bringt es einem wieder in eine 100%ge Abhängigkeit von den Resorts. Für ein günstiges Bier muss man also eine Stunde wandern oder ein teures Resort Taxi nehmen.
There are some other small beaches I didn't mention. The very most of them are privat and acces is only allowed for guests. This places are safe in a sense to know what you get. But again you are 100% depending on it. If you wanna buy a cheap beer, you need to walk an hour to the next shop, or you need to take a Resort- Taxi.
