Von Kuala Lumpur bis vor Langkawi (PD and C'H'lands2)

Ich stoppte aus der Stadt nach Port Dickson als Ausflug um nach Segelbooten  Ausschau zu halten.

I hitchhiked out of Kuala Lumpur to Port Dickson as a little trip. Wanna have a look at the marina.

Port Dickson war dann ein richtiges Drecksloch. Zwar ist das Städtchen sympatisch, aber alles was Strand oder Meer angeht ist überteuert und ''privat''. Ein Resort nach dem anderen. Nicht meine Welt. Auch gabs in der Marina nur Chromstahl- Boote um zu protzen. Reisende werde ich hier nicht finden. Ich ging also schon am nächsten Tag zurück und startete mit Deya vom der chinesisch- Neujahrsfeier in die Cameron Highlands.

Port Dickson was just a dirt- whole. I mean the small city had soul, but everything whats beach or ocean is ''private'' or very expensive. One resort after the other. Such tourist-ghettos are not my cup of tea. The Marina wasn't better. Only chrome steel boats to show off, I'm not gonna find any travelers here. The next day I went back to KL to join Deya (from the chinese new year- party) to hitchhike to the Cameron Highlands.

Es wurde zu einem super Couchsurfer Ausflug und ich kam sogar dazu die Teeplantagen zu sehen, welche ich das letzte Mal vor einem Jahr verpasste.

It became a nice Couchsurfing event, and I even had the occasion to see the teaplantations. Great, cos I missed them the last time a year ago.

Raja war der Organisator, mit welchem wir als Gruppe danach auch den ''Maxwill- hill'' in Taiping bestiegen. Super! Wieder einmal auf einem Berg!

Raja was the organiser, and together with him, the group went up the ''Maxwill- hill'' in Taiping. Great! Again on top of a mountain!

Immer der Nase entlang. Ich verabschiedete mich von den neuen Freunden und machte mich auf nach Langkawi um nach Booten zu suchen.

On the road again. So I went on to Langkawi after saying goodbye to the new friends, to search for yachts in Langkawi.

Da ich spät startete und nicht gerne in die Nacht hinein Autostoppe, übernachtete ich eine Nacht in Penang.

I was quite late and don't like to hitchhike in the night. Thats why I overnight in  Penang.
