ZE Megabuildings

Mir ist aufgefallen, dass ich einige der genialsten Bauwerke der Welt gesehen habe...

I realized how many huge buildings I've already seen during my travelings. Some of them built hundreds of years ago.

Einer meiner Liebsten. Versunken im Urwald fand man gigantische Anlagen, in welchen Tempel und Stadt als Ganzes gebaut wurden. Verteidigen wollten sich diese Menschen nicht mit Kanonen oder Waffen, sondern mit Götter, deren Gesichter von den Türmen starren. Angkor Wat

One of my favorites. Hidden in the forest are gigantic constructions. The temples and the town is planned as one. Defense didn't really exist, the gods- faces on top of the towers shall do this. Angkor Wat

Wer schon seit Jahrtausenden Megabauten bauten, sind die Chinesen. Dort habe ich alte Terrakotta- Armee  und Verbotene Stadt oder den neugebauten Dreischluchtendamm gesehen. 

Since thousands of years the chinese are building huge things. For example: armee of terrakotta and the forbidden City or the new biggest dam of the world.

In Indonesien sind rund um Yogyakarta hunderte Tempel zerstreut:  Bromobudur

Aber was mir erst im Nachhinein auffällt, sind die genialen Städte Europas und die Russische Metro.

I just realized later how great the cities of Europe and the metro of Russia is.

Da bleibt direkt nicht mehr viel zu sehen. Ich möchte schon noch an den Nil und zu den Mayas...
